Hi, I'm Ethan. I'm a husband to the beautiful Isabel and father of 4 wonderful kids. I'm a musician, songwriter, producer and mix engineer living in Sydney, Australia. Ever since the age of 14, I have been writing and recording music. After learning a few chords on the guitar I instantly began writing. I remember going to a friends house and spending hours on his dad's 4-track cassette recorder to demo the first song I had ever written. It sparked a fierce desire in me to keep making music and that desire has never left me!

When I was 15 I formed an indie rock band in high school (The Window). I wrote a bunch of songs and took them to the studio. Antonio Hanna (The Hunna, Elle Murphy) of Freefall studios (who has since moved to the UK) really believed in us and took us under his wing, helping us produce a great little EP. But more than that, Antonio became a friend, enjoying similar tastes in music. He encouraged me to get into production and allowed me both supervised and unsupervised studio time to cut my teeth.

After my high school band departed ways, I joined 'We are the Outpost' and we went back to Antonio to record and produce an EP. And again a few years later to record part of a later release called 'Ex Nihilo'. Not having the funds to complete the recording project, we looked to crowdfunding and self produced 3 of the 7 songs, finishing it off with the help of Antonio Hanna and producer Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels, Something with numbers). These experiences helped train my ears, taught me valuable skills in production and fuelled my desire to get better and better at doing this.

Years later I joined Produce Like a Pro Academy to hone my skills in recording and producing, taking my mixes up a few notches, learning directly from the amazing producer Warren Huart (The Fray).

I currently work as a production director at my church part-time and have been picking up live production, performance, mixing and other post production work along the way. I'm very thankful that I'm able to help others craft their music and see their creative vision come to fruition!
